  • Hi, I'm Sarah.

I have been coaching girls for 10 + years and I absolutely love it. I got started in this coaching world because I realized that there was a need for girls to have an unbiased outlet/mentor who could create a safe space to share, reflect, and grow.

I remember what it was like to be a teen girl. My teenage years were filled with ups and downs. I wish I would have had someone to talk with to share my thoughts, ask questions, and help me figure out who I was and who I wanted to be.

I struggled with insecurities about my self esteem, my looks, and my height. (I am 5’9 and was always taller than all the boys). I had braces for what seemed like FOREVER. I did well academically in school, but was constantly overly stressed. I had this obsession with needing to be perfect and that led to always putting so much pressure on myself. I remember trying to set goals for myself which I loved to do, but I didn’t have anyone to hold me accountable and keep me motivated to follow through. I luckily had a great group of friends and we were all trying to navigate the teen years together. My parents were more than supportive but I didn’t feel comfortable telling them everything because I was trying to find my independence.

College led to a fresh start and I spent my first year at Syracuse University. I still can’t believe I was brave enough to go across the country to a school I knew zero people. The transition was hard for me, even though I met great people- I felt like I didn’t fully belong. I did well in my classes and signed up for every club possible to get me busy- but at the end of the year I decided to transfer to University of Colorado- Boulder. I felt like CU Boulder would be a better fit for me, but now I had to start over AGAIN but now as a sophomore in college. And to make matters even better, I started breaking out with bad acne and had to go on acutane. Slowly but surely, I made new friends and joined a sorority that gave me purpose and a place to belong. My skin cleared up and I started to find my grove. I really enjoyed college, sometimes got distracted from my classes, but ended up graduating with honors with a degree in Communications. Shocker, because I talk for a living.

Transitioning to life after college took me down many different job opportunities…some I liked and others led me closer to finding my passion. It wasn’t an easy road and again...I wish I had someone to share my fears and failures with...that would also help me gain some perspective and confidence. When I heard about the career of being a teen life coach, something inside me “lit up”. I have always loved working with the younger generation and being a role model. Going through the Teen Wisdom Life Certification sealed the deal that I had found my calling.

    So I GET it.

I understand how hard (and amazing) it is to be a teenager and young adult in today’s world. The struggle is real…and that’s where coaching can help.

    I am here for YOU.

I feel so honored and lucky to work with each client and truly believe coaching is life changing.

Let’s work together and discover your potential.

    XO

    Sarah
